Location Declared in 1993 one of the “World's Biosphere Reserves” by UNESCO, the South of Lanzarote provides a five-star deluxe property, the Hotel Volcán Lanzarote. Situated directly on the coastline, it is a complex consisting of a Hotel and a Marina. Located only 10 km from Timanfaya National Park also known as “Fire Mountains” due to their volcanic nature and about 800 metres from the picturesque fishing village of Playa Blanca, holding shopping facilities, bars and restaurants, the hotel is just 30 minutes away from the International Airport Arrecife. Facilities Andrés Piñeiro, Spanish star-architect and his team, created a series of buildings, which reflect the traditional design of the local architecture. Designed as a typical village of the island, guests discover romantic patios, piazzas and fountains, including the magnificent entrance to the hotel, a replica of the main-church “Our Lady of Guadalupe” from Teguise. Walking through the spectacular Church entrance, guests reach the heart of the village, the Volcano, where Reception, Bars, Boutiques, Meeting Rooms and other areas are situated. The “Marina Rubicón” offers a wide variety of activities and shopping areas with a great combination of leisure and sports. The Hotel and the Marina form one unit where our guests can enjoy a wide range of leisure and gastronomic offers. Our guests have direct access into the Marina from the pool area. The Marina offers modern installations for practicing any activities, like Tennis, Paddle, and lots of nautical activities as: Windsurf and Sailing lessons, a Diving School and Catamaran Excursions. Rooms The Hotel Volcán Lanzarote counts a total of 255 bedrooms (48 of them in the Club Volcán) spread over 20 typical houses. The rooms provide spectacular views over the islands Fuerteventura, Isla de Lobos, the Papagayo Beaches, the Yacht-Harbour “Marina Rubicon”, Playa Blanca and the extensive pool and gardens areas of the hotel.
