The hotel is very cosy and warm and evokes an era of time gone by ## Location The hotel enjoys an ideal location in the centre of Amsterdam, close to the exclusive shopping street, PC Hoofstraat, and close to the museums and the famous Leidseplein with its Holland Casino. ## Distance 10 kms to the nearest airport (schiphol airport) ## Rooms The bedrooms are predominantly medium in size and most have recently been renovated and are coloured in earthy colours and offer deluxe accommodation and are in very good condition. The bathrooms are also in very good condition and both are a lot more modern than the rest of the hotel offering the guests modern accommodation in a traditional environment ## Restaurant Due to its location, the hotel does not have a restaurant and only serves breakfast. The breakfast room is small but cosy. ## Exterior This is a traditional building, in keeping with the other buildings in this residential street. ## Lobby The lobby is small and intimate with a marble floor and antiques. It leads to a small, cosy lounge bar area where one can have a drink or a light snack.
