IFA DUNAMAR HOTEL The IfA Dunamar Hotel is the only hotel situated next to the beach in the famous Playa del Inglés area of Gran Canaria. This privileged location gives the hotel amazing views of the Canarian coast, as well as 6 kilometers of golden dunes. Its original architecture, in a pyramidal shape, gives the hotel an elegant and distinguish atmosphere. Equipped with all modern comforts and very close to the centre and shopping and leisure centres, it constitutes the ideal place for a memorable stay on the island. The hotel, with a four star classification, consists of two buildings and a total of 257 spacious and welcoming rooms, 8 of which are suites. Modernly furnished, and decorated with great taste, the rooms have a bathroom with a bath, shower and a hairdryer, balcony or terrace (except from single rooms),a bedside table, desk, two chairs, carpeting, air conditioning, satellite television, direct dialing phone, mini-bar (at an extra charge),safe rental and room service. The hotel has one floor exclusively intended for non smokers, several rooms adapted for disabled people and several facilities for families with children, such as cots in the rooms, high chairs for children in the restaurants and the possibility of hiring a baby sitter service ( at an extra charge). The IFA Dunamar Hotel includes among its facilities, 3 spectacular swimming pools with Jacuzzis in each one. Two of them, with beautiful waterfalls, are located in the main building and the third one in the north wing of the complex. All swimming pools are heated during the winter, one of the swimming pools, located on the sixth floor of the main building, offers amazing panoramic sea views. For your comfort, the hotel offers you the possibility to book hammocks free of charge during your whole stay. If you wish, you will be able to change swimming pool towels (at an extra charge). Apart from the swimming area, there is a solarium in the building with a nudist area. The hotel’s restaurant offers you the choice from bed and breakfast, half or full board. Half board includes breakfast and dinner given in the hot and cold buffet in the hotel’s main restaurant, El Restaurante Tabefe. The breakfast offers you a great variety of wholegrain and dietetic products. The evening meal is made up of a generous variety of starters, main dishes and desserts, with tasty culinary dishes characteristic of regional, national and international cuisines, a variety of theme nights and vegetarian cuisine. The IFA Dunamar Hotel has 4 bars with an exquisite atmosphere that will please the most demanding tastes. On the 7th floor, where the spacious hotel´s hall is located, the Piano Bar Ocean View will surprise and relax you with amazing sea views and its selected live music. On the sixth floor, the Bar Atlantico, a notorious nocturnal meeting point, will entertain the evenings with a variety of shows and animations in different languages. Lastly, next to the swimming pools area, there are more two bars, the Snack-Bar Titana and the Snack Bar Mercedes, which will offer you refreshing fruit juices, coffee, homemade cakes, an extensive menu for lunch and a buffet with healthy salads. For the personal care of its clients, the hotel has a therapeutic and health centre on the first floor, that includes sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and a gym, free of charge for the guests. Other additional services in the centre (at an extra charge) are massages, cosmetic treatments and a medical service. On the other hand, for the most energetic, the IFA Dunamar Hotel has a basketball net, ping-pong tables, darts, and billiards (this last one at an extra charge).Very near to the hotel you will be able to practice other sports, like water skiing, surfing, tennis and play golf in the magnificent courses of Maspalomas (2,5 km away) and Meloneras (3 km away) The hotel has a hairdressers, newsstand, games room, television room, and internet service in the hall and a conference room with capacity for 50 people. The IFA Dunamar Hotel was awarded in November 2005, with the certificate of International Quality Standard ISO-9001:2000 by Bureau Veritas enterprise, and also the ISO 14001:2004 in environment and OSHAS 18001:2007 in security and health. The hotel will remain closed from 03/05/2018 – 24/08/2018 due to refurbishment works.
